Brenda Sizemore was hired as a part time secretary for the Wise County Adult Education program in September 1966. She was hired as the full-time Office Manager for the Regional Adult Education Program in July 1990 and has been the data specialist since July 2011.
She and her husband Jack started the GED program in Wise County many years ago. One of her nominators describes Tommie as the “go-to gal, databank problem solver, and the one who knows how to make us all look good.” Another nominator said “Tommie is always there for the regional program and it does not matter what time of the day or evening! She works tirelessly and is always a trooper when anything new is sent her way.” Another said of Tommie “Her depth of knowledge of the whole adult education concept is unequaled. Her understanding of out program and the region we serve is amazing. Her dealings with students and staff is exemplary. Her data analysis is flawless. She has no peers.”
